Stephanie Drouin

Stephanie has been a LMT since July of 2011, after graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. At Community Therapeutix she offers an integrated massage of Swedish and deep tissue techniques. While in school she worked at Puritan & Genesta Natural Foods, formerly of Mystic, as a cook and baker. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Connecticut, attained in 2006.

In the years between college and attending massage therapy school, Stephanie worked in two AmeriCorps programs. In 2007, she was part of the National Civilian Community Corps and worked for the effort to rebuild New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. In 2008, she worked as a crew leader for the Montana Conservation Corps, restoring and building trails in Montana and Idaho. After her terms of service she returned to her hometown of Waterford, CT, and came to realize that massage therapy is her true calling.

Stephanie currently resides in southeastern Connecticut with her husband and Labrador retriever, and in her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and painting pottery.
